States’ rules regarding authorization are subject to change; therefore students enrolling at FIDM should not assume that these opportunities will continue to be available in these states beyond this enrollment period.

  1. Alaska: FIDM's degree programs are exempt from authorization as an online or distance delivered program in the state of Alaska. FIDM does not have a physical presence in this state.
  2. South Carolina: FIDM is not required to obtain a license to provide online degree programs in South Carolina. The state allows residents to file complaints with its state agency. That form can be accessed through the web site of the Commission (https://www.che.sc.gov/CHE_Docs/AcademicAffairs/License/Complaint_procedures_and_form.pdf)
  3. Texas: FIDM is not regulated in Texas under Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code. FIDM is approved in California, the state where it is physically located. Questions, concerns or complaints can be directed to the state agency of the state of your residence, or to the WASC Senior College and University Commission, 985 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 100, Alameda, CA 94501 or the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, PO Box 980818 West Sacramento, CA 95798-0818
