About FIDMCloud Mail

The FIDM web-based email system for students is provided by IBM Connections Cloud.

Your email account username will in most cases be your first initial and last name. For example, Jane Doe's username is jdoe, and her email account would therefore be jdoe@us.fidm.edu.

You will have 50 gigabytes of space in this email account. It is your choice on how you use this email service, but be aware that you are bound by the rules outlined in the FIDM Technology Use Policy, which can be found in the FIDM Portal. You will retain your FIDMCloud Mail address until you graduate or permanently withdraw from school.

How to Get Started

Email Invitation, Registration & Set Up

You will receive an email invitation from IBM Connections Cloud™ with a link to register and set up your new FIDMCloud Mail account. Check your SPAM folder if you do not see your invitation in your inbox. Upon log in, you will set the password of your choice.

After setting up your account, you can access your email anytime at http://us.fidm.edu. If you choose, you can also set up your phone or other email applications to access your FIDMCloud Mail.

How to Log In

  1. Access the FIDMCloud Mail log-in page at http://us.fidm.edu.
  2. Enter your FIDMCloud Mail address. (This information was emailed to your official email on record at FIDM.)

Lotus Live log in page. Enter your user name (which is your full email address) and your password.

  1. Click Continue.
  2. Enter the password you created when you set up your account.
  3. Click the Log In button.

Forgot Your Password?

  1. Access the FIDMCloud Mail log-in page at http://us.fidm.edu.
  2. Click on the Forgot Password link. (If you do not see this link, please contact support at admin@us.fidm.edu)
  3. Enter your FIDM email address
  4. Click the Continue button.
    Enter your FIDMCloud Mail address in the top field and then click the Continue button.
  5. The FIDMCloud Mail system will send you a Password Reset Link to your personal email account, which is the email account that you provided FIDM at the time of registration. As a reminder, this personal email account can be updated through the FIDM Portal.
    Check Your Email screen that informs you that the Password Reset link has been sent to your alternate email address.
  6. Check your personal email account for delivery of the Password Reset Email. Click the Password Reset Link that has been provided to you in the email.
  7. The Reset Your Password page will open and will prompt you to reset your password.
  8. Enter your new password in both of the boxes on the Reset Your Password page. Be mindful of the password rules which can be found by selecting the Password Rules link.
  9. Make sure to note your password in a safe place and click the Continue button.
    Enter your new password twice on the Reset Your Password page. Then click Continue.
  10. You will be redirected to the FIDMCloud Mail log in page. Log in again using your new password.

Getting FIDMCloud Mail on your smartphone

Use the FIDMCloud Mail mobile app to easily check your FIDM email! It is available for iOS and Android, search for “Verse Mail” in your App Store. If you have a different device, you can easily check email through a browser at http://us.fidm.edu and select Ultra-light Mode.
