The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising has implemented Instructure Canvas as its new learning management system. Beginning Summer Quarter, ALL online courses and course websites will be hosted by Canvas. This new system has a great user interface, many new features and has a great app available for your phone or tablet.
IF you currently have files stored in eLearning, you will need to download them and save them to your own personal device or storage site BEFORE June 30, 2019.
As of summer quarter, when you click on your eLearning link in the portal, you will be directed to the new Canvas site and there will be no further access to this current site.
Beginning Spring Quarter, you MUST use your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to access any of the Adobe products on any campus computers, including all labs and the IDEA Center.
NOTE: YOU WILL BE GETTING A NEW ADOBE LOGIN DIRECTLY FROM ADOBE: Please check your FIDM email for specific instructions from ADOBE about your new Adobe profile!
You will need an Enterprise ID to connect to Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and services enabled by FIDM in all the labs and IDEA Center while on campus. To access your existing content, you must migrate all content from your current Adobe ID account to your new Enterprise account. No data is shared or transferred automatically.
All users should have received three (3) emails with the following subjects (NOTE: emails do not always come in the correct order):
1. "You no longer have access to All Apps" (Removing the access from their Adobe ID)
2. "Adobe login change for Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising" (Adobe ID changed to Enterprise ID)
3. "Access is granted. Enjoy All Apps now." (Access added to their Enterprise ID along with Enterprise ID setup link)
NOTE: Please make sure you have converted your Adobe ID to the Enterprise ID before attempting to login.
You will need to log on WITH your Adobe ID to use Adobe products, so be sure to know your log in and password when you are on campus.

For students that received a subscription from Kivuto (the FIDM Adobe Web Store) with a Adobe redemption code before Summer 2018, please note that these subscriptions last for one year from the date of redemption.
Once your existing Adobe subscription expires, please email eLearning@us.fidm.edu to request a renewal. Include your:
*FIDM staff cannot assign Adobe CC subscriptions to non-FIDM email accounts.
